Jennifer started her career in 2011 at the Vancouver office of KPMG LLP where she served cross-border private clients with a focus on high net worth individuals and families as well as executives on international assignments. She advised individuals on both sides of the border on tax matters related to residence, compensation, investments including real estate, retirement plans, gifting and expatriation. In 2016, Jennifer moved to Ottawa with her family and joined the Ottawa office of Deloitte LLP where she worked in the Global Employer Service team focusing on servicing multinational organizations dealing with Canadian and U.S. tax issues arising out of their employees’ international mobility.
In early 2020, Jennifer moved back to Vancouver and joined SKL for the opportunity to provide personalized high-quality services to clients in a warm and friendly atmosphere of a small office as well as spend more time with her young family.
Jennifer holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting and Finance from Simon Fraser University (SFU) and is a Chartered Professional Accountant (through the Certified General Accountant legacy program). In her spare time, Jennifer values spending time with her family, hiking, playing badminton, and travelling.
